Data protection

The company publishing this site, identified in the legal notice, decides alone which data is processed and for what purpose.

For any question about your data, write to the contact address shown on this page. We reply as promptly as we can.

Two forms collect data on this site. The quotation request sends your name and email address and — where you fill them in — your telephone number, the location of the project and the nature of the request, together with the message you write.

There are two ways into LuxeGlass Studio. Creating an account sends your name, email address, telephone number and postal address, along with your company and the type of project where you fill them in. Access without an account sends only your name and email address. In both cases these details open your access and allow us to contact you about your project; they are stored in our database, together with the date of each time you open the Studio, and are neither sold nor passed on.

Creating an account also requires a password. It is never kept in clear: only an irreversible fingerprint is stored, and nobody here can read it.

In the quotation request, telephone and location are optional. The location serves only to arrange an on-site survey; it is neither cross-referenced nor enriched.

Browsing the site requires no data at all. You can read it in full without sending us anything.

We process this data to answer your request, prepare an offer and, where applicable, prepare the contract that would follow. These are pre-contractual steps taken at your initiative.

We do not use this data for advertising, build no profile, and take no automated decisions about you.

We do not sell, rent or exchange any data.

Two providers are involved technically: the site's hosting provider and the service that delivers the emails. Both process the data on our instructions and for that purpose alone.

Email delivery is configured on a European region: your request leaves neither the European Union nor Switzerland.

Apart from these providers, your data is disclosed to no one, save where the law requires it.

A request that leads nowhere is deleted at the latest twelve months after the last exchange.

Where a request leads to an offer or to an installation, the corresponding records are kept for as long as the accounting and warranty obligations applicable in Switzerland require.

A LuxeGlass Studio account is kept for as long as it is used, and deleted at the latest twenty-four months after you last opened the configurator. Access without an account, and the dates on which the Studio was opened, are deleted after twelve months. You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time.

You may at any time request access to your data, its correction or erasure, object to its processing, or obtain a transferable copy of it.

A plain request to our contact address is enough. We may ask you to establish your identity, solely to avoid disclosing your data to someone else.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or to the supervisory authority of your country of residence in the European Union.

This site sets cookies only if you open an account, and then two: the one that keeps you signed in, and the one that lets your first name appear in the navigation bar. Both expire after 90 days, measure nothing, track nothing and are passed to nobody. No analytics, no advertising pixel, no embedded social media button.

Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than from a third-party service: no request, and therefore no IP address, is passed to a third party during your visit.

That is why you see no consent banner: this cookie is required for the very thing you asked for, and nothing else is stored. If you do not open an account, nothing at all is written. Should that change, the banner would appear before anything was stored, and this page would be updated.

The site is served over HTTPS only; everything travels encrypted. Quotation requests are delivered to our mailbox and handled as correspondence. LuxeGlass Studio accounts, however, are stored in a database hosted in Europe, reachable only by our own application. Passwords never appear there in clear: only an irreversible fingerprint is kept.

No system is infallible. Should an incident affect your data, we would inform the people concerned and the competent authority as the law requires.

This page may change as the site changes — for instance if an analytics tool were added. The update date above identifies the version in force.
